Of course Speech recognition has been available to Win XP users since at least 2003 all you need is Win Xp SP1 or later and the Microsoft Speech Recognition Engine (SRE). |

Certainly, my preference is to move forward albeit that early entry involves risks. I moved up to 1MB of RAM with XP to accommodate Dragon Naturally Speaking which I use... |
