I'm happy with XP. It's installed on all three machines at home. One of the PCs dual boots with Linspire (not a bad Linux). Another PC dual boots with Xandros 3 (not bad either). |

Have you looked at vmware ? There's a vmware client for mos OS's so you can run windows in linux, linux in windows (and it works with ubuntu) etc etc. Free and it works. |

Although small, the Asus EEE is easy to see. It will stream audio happily to your amp. You could add a dongle, and listen on the move. Some of these notebooks have XP added. |

It will need to be good to beat many of the offers around now which for buisness radio includes support. Good software only costs US$200-ish and with support it's a bargain. |
