The situation is a bit moer complex as: 1. I understand it only applies countries which are to sigatories of UNCLOS and have also incorporated it under their national laws. |

I wouldn't presume that Muslim execution by hanging necessarily involves a "noose". Certainly, in Iran a loop of rope of wire is placed around the neck and the victim is raised... |
