 Couldn't agree with you more. When I listen to Smooth Radio here in the North West, all the presenters sound the same, with the exception of Andy Peebles and Richard Searling.

I suppose the answer is that besuited middle-aged men look at how "yoof" listen to music and try to make their radio stations sound a bit more like that – either by reducing ads...

Actually, the Big L DJ who are the calls flowing in every few minutes no longer does the programme, and the DJ in the same timeslot hardly gets any calls.
