Hi Richard and Martin, As someone who was on the "tender" I can tell you that the decision to leave the LV18 when we did was taken by the "tender" operator.

It was, someone from BBC Essex walked past me at ten past three who was in communication with the tender and I heard him say "We weren't expecting you to come off so early.".
