In very respectful memory of "DAVE THE FISH" from the 'FAIRWIND' R.I.P a true and genuine friend and lifeline to Radio Caroline "Ah-ha-ha-ha, Oh-What?!!" In the late 1980s - early 1990s, the radioship Ross Revenge was tendered on hundreds of occasions by "Dave the Fish" from his trawler the 'Fairwind'. For those who worked on Radio Caroline he was an integral part of their lifeline, and will be greatly missed.

Recently, the excellent film 'The Boat that Rocked' "based on 'Radio Caroline'" rocketed the name 'Radio Caroline' back out into the public eye after 20, 30, or is it 40 years of complete obscurity.

I am never quite sure whether the plural of Radio Caroline should be "Radios Caroline" or "Radio Carolines". Perhaps it's a bit like the plural for socket outlet being "sockets outlet".

Go to Shoutcast and search on "caroline". Look for all of the "Happy" entries and add them up. Now add up all of the entries for ordinary Radio Caroline. Compare.
