Well to a very large extent you are right-on, if I can have a little bit of an each-way bet here .. yes radio is predictable and boring, especially commercial music radio (to my ears) sometimes...

I split music radio into two main components, and when asked to describe it, I have said you need to think about a patchwork quilt or blanket.

Actually, currently there is no such thing as "music only" radio, bring back the instrumentalists such as Joe Loss, Edmundo Ross and the Palm Court Orchestra, that's whay I say! |

Whereas I like oldies, but I also like new music too. But why on earth listen to a radio station for a limited range of oldies when I can programme my own listening?
