Ofcom has awarded the licence to run the local TV service in London on digital terrestrial TV (DTT).

It would be highly uncharecteristic for Ofcom to resort to such measures. Has the FM pirate situation in London got so bad now ?

So more cumminty stations = less smaller commercial ones i.e. less commercial competition and further restricting ownership of commercial stations.

This boils down to a need to look at the real problem such stations suffered from.

The transmission site is further into London than WNKR, the power is 8 times as much?? so really worse than it was before!

Here in the North West we killed analogue 4 earth years ago.

I also remember hearing Tony on BBC Radio London in the mornings doing his Soul show. We have reasonable reception of the station here on 94.9 - now BBC London of course.
