BBC Radio has its highest listening hours for three years, according to data published today by RAJAR.

I suppose the answer is that besuited middle-aged men look at how "yoof" listen to music and try to make their radio stations sound a bit more like that – either by reducing ads or getting rid of...

When Radio 1's Jo Whiley and Edith Bowman were axed from daytime Radio 1, the announcement came some month or so before they went. They were allowed to talk about their pending leaving.
