Listening to Redsands Radio right now while I am cooking dinner and it's really kickin' – the morning show (evening here) is really buzzing.

Re: Laser I didn't like the music on Laser, but I thought that it was a brilliant radio station. I mean brilliant.

From what I can recall Laser was great and gave not only radio in this country a good kick up the @r$e that it needed, it also did the same for Caroline as they actually started...

I agree. Caroline during the 80s should of had sponsorship from Prozac. It required a cattle prod to try and make it sound alive, my biggest memories of both Caroline and Laser...

I could hear a very weak station on 1278 kHz at 08:30 this morning in my car close to Birmingham Airport.

Caroline was always the worst offshore station after its return (except for Radio Seagull which was even more dreadful), and always made far worse by the Loving Awareness theme...

Signal here in deepest Suffolk/​ Cambs border country (near Newmarket) decent anorak quality. Amazing really for 1 watt, considering the 50 miles or so of land the signal has...

Oscar, I'm listening to the "live" stream now, this guy John Aston is indeed laid back, he's on about sat navs at the mo, well at least it a bit "different".
