Both 1512 and the web stream are already on. Don't forget the programmes run as they are listed but not at specific times, they both loop 24/7. MAR have a programme line-up that start say at 10am through until midnight or whatever, with presenters allotted a specific start time, not so with WNKR.

Here at Radio Xanadu we have the luxury of being live direct to air unlike the pre-recorded shows of MAR and WNKR. So we have the bonus of being able to update schedules as it happens. Plus it is so much more fun getting feedback and playing requests etc. as they come in :)

Is this because they can't afford links? Cos surely it's just as easy to feed the TX with a link as it is with whatever player they use?

No it's not because we can't afford links! Pah! I can build them for peanuts! No it's because we all live in different parts of the UK, even Europe and don't have the time to all do the shows live. Work and other responsibilities prevent us doing it live. Besides pre-recorded programs mean we leave the TX on longer and more people get a chance to here them all without having to stay listening all the time.
