New music: Mail order/Downloads
Does anyone know any websites where I can order phsyical copies of new music (chart and non-chart), and anywhere where I can download new music (legally)? Both without a credit card or debit card. I've googled for this but found nothin.

The only method of payment for online music i have seen is always by Credit or debit card. When you say legally you mean you are prepared to pay for the music so one or the other payment card is required to pay online. Some online music stores that also have physical shops do have a download voucher system which you can buy using good old fashoined cash in the shop and then take home and use to pay on their websites – from memory HMV do them and i think WHsmith do them. They work much like the top up vouchers you can get for pay as you go mobile phones.

I've found this: www.ez-tracks.com/
I don't want you to think I'm recommending it (or not) as I don't know anything about it, but it claims to be legal and FREE (which is what you seem to be looking for – without a method of payment).
If it turns out to be crap, don't blame me. I'm just trying to help.

Getting music that is sold for free is killing music. The artists have to make a living. Royalties for getting their music played is a load a crap though. It is free advertising.

I've had a look, and it looks very illegal. Dizzee Rascal ft. Armand Van Helden for free? It's got to be killing music. I am more interested in mail order, then I might be able to get some of the stuff on vinyl. Older music isn't much if a problem, I can get that from second hand stores and charity shops, but new music isn't available as singles very much really, and I can't normally afford albums. And anyway, I'm not normally near His Masters Voice.

It's something I need to look into really. Since I don't get music illegaly, could anyone list the pros and cons of gettin it illegally, or say how it is not bad.

But you record hours and hours of music being played on the radio. What's the difference?
