Radio 1 in Maidstone

I notice that some of the shows are coming live from the massive Mote Park Big Weekend thingie, but overnight is coming the nearby Maidstone TV studios. Them there Maidstone TV studios used to house the Caroline Maidstone station before that got moved into John's bedroom.

So, the big question is: Are Radio 1 using the exact studio once inhabited by Caroline Maidstone?

I think we should be told!

Listening to the rather excellent 'After-show party' being broadcast right now. Apparently there are around 2,500 souls in the Maidstone TV studios dancing and having a great time. So, probably not the same studio once inhabited by Caroline Maidstone then, eh!
