I have been visting this site a number of times, as with most people I
have noticed it is getting quieter and quieter.
Yes it needs a decent topic to get everyone talking, however were this
site let's itself down from it's last home is the response time when youclick on something here.
I know most of the old people who lurk here like old stations and how
life use to be, but one thing they do have in common with younger peopleis that they do not like to wait.
I think this more than anything is killing this site. I think that the
tipping point may have already been reached (sadly). Before I go is it just me that's suffering from this or do other people
also notice the difference.I understand the cost implications of running sites like this, and I'm
sure this site would have not been making any money, however if the
reponse issue could have been fixed, I'm sure it may have had a
fighting chance, alas I fear it is to late, it was fun while it lasted,Steve
Hi All, yes the site has got very quiet since moving. I had a lot of trouble logging in at the start as my security details had been lost in the migration process. I also get a 'page not found' error about 50% of the time when I try to log in. Both of these issues are frustrating and will certainly put people off . Never had a problem prior to migraton. It was good of Chris to put some kind of explanation up for these issues. I hope the site will survive and grow in 2007 as there have been some excellent postings, some good debate and a few laughs in the last year. So while Im here can I ask a couple of questions
1) What is Mike Spenser up to these days?
2) Is it true that Big L will be renting space on 279 long wave Mon to Friday daytimes from easter?
