Hello everyone. I have just sent this e-mail to Radio Waddenzee, Radio Seagull and Radio Caroline. Perhaps Radio Caroline will from the First of April transmits on the 1395 kHz AM instead of Radio Seagull which will broadcast on the SW too.

Geachte medewerk(st)ers van Radio Waddenzee. Hierbij de e-mail die ik zojuist naar Radio Seagull heb verzonden.

Hello everyone of Radio Seagull. I have just sent this e-mail to Radio Caroline.

Hello everyone of Radio Caroline. I know of your AM-campaign and now I have got an idea for you:
On http://www.radioseagull.nl/news.html you can now read this two
items:

Radio Seagull now on Shortwave as well !!

As from 24th April, Radio Seagull can also be heard on Shortwave on
6150 kHz in the 49 metre band. Broadcasts will be increasing up to 24 hours a day.
SW Radio

The power will be up to 6 KW and the coverage will be from
Spain to Finland with the transmitter based in Germany.

1395AM - April Fool?

Starting Sunday April 1st 2012 Radio Seagull will be back on 1395AM.
In spite of the date, this is not a joke. Every day, from 7 am 'till 7 pm, Radio Seagull programmes will be going out via 1395AM.

From 7 pm until 7 am, Radio Seagull will be on 1602AM as normal. The stereo webcast will also remain unchanged running 24 hours a day.

The transmitter site is the last remaining radioship in the world
Jenni Baynton
the LV Jenni Baynton.

My idea is now: can Radio Caroline buy this 1395 kHz AM from Radio Seagull, so that Radio Seagull will only transmits on the SW and Radio Caroline then wlll broadcast on the 1395 kHz AM. It is possible that this AM-transmitter will be on air everyday 21 hours a day.
From 7PM BST till 10 PM BST must the 1395 kHz be off air due to
possible interferences on Radio Tirana which broadcast on this same frquency.
Greetings of Nico from Gouda, the Netherlands.
