Christopher "metres" are still being used on multi band radios, on SW the broadcast bands are still in metres and so are the Amateur Bands. I know many radios now just have am/fm with the AM Band in Khz, and the FM Band in Mhz. When Luxembourg closed it was still the great 208, not 1440khz. Although when Caroline closed, she was on an announced 819khz, off course in your days on the Ross, i think some dj's used to say on 558khz, 538m this is Radio Caroline, anyway to get back to your original point, I agree, MW radios don't have metres on their dials or digital read outs anymore, modern technology eh? 73's
