I agree Geoff – maybe a clean install would help resolve most things.

then it may be better than XP on my machines and make them even faster.

That is the feedback I'm getting more and more with the caveat that it can't be done 128 RAM :-)

But personally, I stick to MacOS or Unix whenever possible.

Will you play with the, now rumoured free, Chrome OS?
