IOMBI BAD NEWS : NEW !
IOM Canceld
IOMBI 279 License is revoked .

KAT has cancelled the IOMB CFA License , because the IOMB is financially dead and could not pay KAT the CFA license fees for the many last years
.

Consequently the IOMB 279 license is obviously revoked too , since it was awarded based on using the CFA .

KAT is not responsible for any funds raised into the IOMB by new investors or shareholders .

 From the RadioCarolineForum:

Quoting Paul Rusling (as 'oconnor') at 19:29:

"There are at least two other suppliers of antennas using CFA technology
IMIB severed their link with Kabbary Antenna technology some time ago
– over exhoribitant demands for licence fees and his penchant for making unauthorised and damaging statements. He was holding IMIB to ransom over the CFA and they refused to pay him off. Quite simple. I dont think this is a development at all."

 From the IOMIB website:

"Press Statement
Antenna Problems Solved!

In 2005, IMIB signed a contract with KAT for the supply of a Crossed Field Antenna and a deposit of 50% was paid for this item, costing £300,000 sterling. Despite KAT claims that the antenna was completed, we have not received the necessary documentary evidence and the device has not been made available for independent testing. We must protect our investors and so have refused to make further payments demanded by KAT, including disputed licence fees for periods not used. Our view is that the level of these 'licence fees' is exorbitant, and that the principle of levying them is unprecedented in the broadcast industry.

Negotiations for the supply of a CFA from another source have now been completed and we have made an initial payment for use of the technology to the patent holders.

IMIB is considering what action to take to retrieve the advance payments made to KAT under the unfulfilled contracts.
