Absolutely Eric- how sad to hear of Abie's death- what a truly great guy. His commitment to cutting right through all the poisonous religion and politics was inspiring. I have many great memories of tuning in to VOP's massive FM 100MHz signal from various trips to Cyprus in the 80's and once even picked up the AM signal from the UK. Great station. I thought it apt that he died just after a ship crammed with humanitarian aid for the folks of Gaza set sail from Cyprus to try to get through the criminal Israeli blockade. Dunno- maybe Abie was involved? it sounds like his kind of project!
