I previously reported that Red Sands was just receivable with a ground wave signal in Birmingham with 5% of words being readable.

With the help of the skip, it was quite a delight to get a usable signal yesterday evening over a sustained period, in Balsall Common (Nr Birmingham Airport). It very much reminded me of the signal that used to be received from Radio Atlantis only with very little interference.

At signal peaks it was really booming in.
