Oscar, I'm listening to the "live" stream now, this guy John Aston is indeed laid back, he's on about sat navs at the mo, well at least it a bit "different". I still think climbing up a rusty old hulk and sticking a great big TX antenna up all for the sake of 1 watt is a little insane, unless off course they've borrowed a TX from caroline or the laser ship and are using 10KW, then indeed they would be pirates wouldn't they, and not insane at all, just insane anoraks like all of us.
