Hi Sterls,

When it's all said and done it's just some guys playing a bunch of
records throwing in the odd jingle and a selection of sponsorship ads
and Ka'Bang you've got it. The programming isn't the key thing here –
dare I admit it .. it's the way that it's done that makes it
interesting, and I like the way they've done it ,, very eccentric and
that's fine by me.

It's a great shame about the dreadful programmes from Redsand.

I switched it off when it became just too annoying.

However, I can see from here that the format is getting the general seal
of approval.

I'll be honest here, this sort of thing isn't really my cup of tea normally,
but I'm quite enjoying it and don't really know why.

Me too Steve – it's such a non-sensical approach to radio that it's kind of wild.

I mean, to the regular folk out there it must seem a little un-usual having a bunch of guys doing up an old rusty M.O.D. relic that looks like something out of War Of The Worlds positioned somewhere off the south eastern coastline of Britain and putting up a whopping antenna pole and a 1 watt transmitter for a 10 day broadcast.

It could seem a little over the top – but hey, that's what makes it facinating – it's good to see people live out their wildest fantasies and not get stuck in the usual grind.

Hey they've achieved more than Longwave 279 even if it is QRP !!
