Nothing is edited or censored here whatsoever, ever. The only thing that happens is that the very first post you ever make after joining is 'moderated', meaning held back. This is purely to make sure you are not a spambot having signed up to tell everybody how they need Viagra (Damn them, how do they know anyway??).

As soon as your first post is manually examined to make sure it's not spam, then all your subsequent posts are live and as you write 'em.
 From that point as soon as you post stuff it immediately goes off as email to all those who have 'live' email deliveries selected. So, once your posts are sitting comfortably in people's Inboxes, how can they be edited by any moderators? They can't.

There can sometimes be a slight delay before they appear on the website, but that is nothing deliberate just the technology and net-lag catching up (It's to do with a post becoming a piece of email that is then emailed to the website and the website having to uncrunch it and display it. Asleep yet? :-) ).

We are also amazing tolerant here too. We even let through people who join purely to leave posts that advertise other anoraky places, rather than join in with our actual conversations. Now that's our dedication to upholding the value of real free speech. I doubt you'll find many other radio boards and forums doing that!

My goodness, what a brilliant place we are. And, you get the added bonus of this being the only radio anorak board/forum I ever post on.
