Just been for a rock around the forums.

I see the Freeradio ones are now 'closed'. What happened there then? Was there a fight I missed? Or am I confused with Digital Spy? Speaking of them, can't seem to find anything on DS worthy of reading. A couple of anoraky threads with the same fights and arguments of 10 years ago, and that's it. Then on to the secret Long Wave forum and there's still a number of conspiracy theories being mooted which are interesting and made me laugh. It's always good to have a secret place to discuss other people within, innit. There should be more of it. Then onwards I went to Garry Stevens' house. Obviously been some fighting going on there, and its dominated as usual by people needing to be worshipped for what they once did many years ago, and failed to do more recently, but it's still probably the best read around and there was evidence of Mr Stevens having been out with the hedgetrimmers. Good on him. Seemed to be a sad absence of Peter Moore writing about something random but using it as an opportunity to attack Neil Gates or even the wonderful me. Then I did try, honest, to get passed the first few threads at Media UK, but had to leave to avoid having to slash my wrists. Heads, bottoms, up.

Lordy, is there no real good anoraky conversation ongoing anywhere? Ideally a conversation without victims? All the boards seem to have crusades and jihads in full force or they are repeating the same conversations I read and joined in with a decade ago. Sigh. Is there some weird sunspot activity going on making everybody mad and angry?

Now then. I think there should be a radio anorak conversation channel on one of the microblogging services. As you know, I'm already a Twitter and Jaiku anorak, although they are not friendly for 'conversations' really, but I've recently been playing via t'mobile on www.plurk.com and found it mildly addictive, maybe even ideal for anoraky conversation. I also tried www.kwippy.com but don't see where that's going to fit in the scheme of things.

But, I was thinking of picking just one of these places and setting up a conversation thing and maybe deserting everywhere else. The question is, which damn one? If you wanna come play with 'anoraknation' on Plurk, try:

(reconstruct that link if it is broken!!)

Anyway, have I taken over from Pete Price yet at CityTalk? Nope. He just won't leave.

And finally, is it me or is Capital Radio in London sounding as fresh and as good as Radio 1 but with less talking making it a good station to listen to? Blimey, I'd best finish now and go and rest if I'm starting to admit to such things...!.
