Finally, after waiting 5 months for some Indian guys based in Gujarat working for a bowl of rice a day whilst constructing our 120 watt solid state transmitter, Old Fart AM will be lighting up the ether in the next few weeks with some trouser ripping sounds. We are beavering away, inbetween the Mrs. Mills raves we hold at our old people's home based here in Petts Wood, putting together our new programmes which will be transmitted every Sunday from 0600 - 2200 Hrs GMT (Guff Maybe Time) (BTW our transmitter site isn't in Petts Wood before someone pilfers it - I know theres some scousers on this site, (Scouse accent) so aye! Watch it mate!)

So for those who want to hear some Northern Soul with a mix of Motown, Soul, Bop and Pop from the drug crazed days of the 60s & 70's - tune in! We'll also include some 80's bits and bobs now and then with our very own on the hour 'Old Fart News' service. Old Fart AM will also be including our show piece programme - 'From Round Your Way' Every 1st Sunday in the month, we'll be popping round an Old Folks home asking for requests and recording some sound bytes from those who can manage to speak a word or two. It'll also include requests from old people we meet in Asda, Tesco and Morrison's, awww, and the Posh new Sainsbury's in Orpington! Think this is a wind up, then if it's ok with Chris, I'll post a posting when our first transmission is due on air.
