Britain's Naff TalentOne thing that gets me about these "talent" shows is the high level of delusion on the part of some of the participants – some of them actually think they're good and that's compounded by their friends and family supporting them, merely increasing the ultimate humiliation. Then, of course, when they get that reality check from the likes of Simon Cowell, they can't accept that and go harranguing the bloke. Sad, doesn't even begin to cover it.

What gets me more than that Alan is how many people actually wast a Saturday evening watching this twaddle. My Daughter popped round today and turned my TV over from LBC on freeview (which was just noise in the background whilst stuffing my face with crumpets) to the repeat of this 'Britain's Talent'. My Daughter is still receiving the 100,000 volts shock treatment as I speak as she found it totally entertaining, what's more she watched it last night too.

I've have arranged the guys in white coats to take her away after sun down once she has completed at least 8 hours of shock treatment to the brain.

This kind of television is just p*ss poor and I am seriously thinking of going back to the planet where I originally come from where Jedi's are entertained via a much more intelligent means, such as 24 hour a day Country File with John Craven and Cheggars Play Pop on the alternative channel. A Planet where Simon Cowel and Peter Jones would be used a foxes in a country side man hunt. BBC Local news readers would be pole axed after receiving 12 years worth of speech therapy lessons. Reality TV Producers would be boiled in KY jelly and stuffed up elephants arses as past time sport and finally, Quiz Show hosts and Breakfast TV presenters get put into the next version of the film SAW whereby they have bodily traps attached to them and desperately have to save themselves from the kind of mental torture they give their viewers.

........Still, that bloody Britains Got Talent tops it all so far!
