No, that's a twisted version of events! Peter Moore said they had to choose. They could work for his station and not Seagull or they could work for Seagull and not his station. Their 'choice' was on which one to stick with. Some folk stuck with Seagull. Some folk stuck with Caroline Mattress.

The question still remains though, Why would Seagull timeshare with this
lot?

Despite being a hot rockin' flame throwin' investigative journalist, I'm actually getting very confused by the number of Carolines there are now, and all that there politics behind them. How come it has been decided by the Moore cronies that this Caroline in Spain has to be declared a bad Caroline, and yet (for example) the Caroline that serves a large chuck of France is never ever wept over or spat about? Equally people on the Caroline Wailing list seem to be quite happy to listen to the Caroline from Ireland (or is it Riga? I'm confused), some of them discussing how good it sounds.
