Doesn't surprise me at all that mobile usage is now higher than fixed lines as we hardly use our BT phone now, In fact if i didn't need it for the Broadband i would get rid and as we are not in a cabled area that is not a option, Last quarter our BT phone bill was £50 plus out of that only £11 was for calls

In our house my Wife has a contract mobile phone where she gets as part of the contract unlimited free landline minutes and i have a PAYG phone just for emergencies and i get 600 minutes a month free evening calls.
