Shameless plug. My documentary "When Pirates Ruled the Waves", commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Marine Offences Act, is being broadcast again today on BBC Radio Merseyside at 1500 (Sunday September 16).
Like all BBC local stations, you can "Listen Live" on the internet.
The programme was first broadcast on 20 BBC Local stations over the August Bank Holiday Weekend.
It was also given a repeat broadcast last night on BBC Radio Manchester at 1800.
A number of stations have indicated they plan to repeat it over Christmas.
