I find that I have everything on the Google Apps 'cloud' at work. For some reason at home I tend to use Thunderbird for email as well as Google. |

Microsoft proudly announced to the world in general a few years ago - at least 4 , that tablet computers with touch screens were going to replaced the laptop/notebook computer. It never happened. |

I didn't quite 'get' the point of tablet computers, and certainly saw the iPad as a pointless waste of space which would be grabbed by iSheep so they could walk around with it like a posh toy with... |

I've used this on my Nokia N95, and yes it is a very good browser. The N95 browser is ok for most things but Opera certainly has the edge and does make the most of the small screen. |

All the browsers spy on you, unless you deselect the spying mode. Firefox spies on you even if you deselect the spying mode. It's part of the terms and conditions! |

We tend to use Chrome because it is so 'light' and everything we do is in the 'cloud' so we have no need for add-ons or extensions, really. |

Thanks roger roger. That sorts that one as well now.I now hame a home tab. I don't get why things that are present by default in IE and FF are not in Chrome. |

Also when your cursor goes over a link, or when you have clicked on a link, you would expect the link address to be shown at the bottom of the screen. |

Iv'e just noticed something else blindingly obvious is missing - there's no home page icon or tab. I take it there's an add on to put one in somewhere. will research further ! |

I have found a work around for the text size issue. Found an add on extension called Zoom lock which enables you to set the percentage of zoom applied to all pages. |

I have tried Chrome thro its various up dates. On my system it is slower than FF. I dislike the way it looks - too basic Most of all I do not want Google spying on me |
