No TV isn't dying. The way we're watching is changing. Sky+, Iplayer, on demand from all the major TV channels is allowing us to watch what we want when we want.

MAR 1386 AM on Saturday 20th/Sunday 21st March 2010

Re: TV is dying.

Ok. So, compare TV 'programme' with Youtube 'programme', rather than individual TV station. A 'programme' may be sold around the world and broadcast via dozens of networks.

Christopher England 13:53
Re: TV is dying.

I think that as Alan says , its not a level comparison to compare TV ratings with a global website like Youtube.

Simon Crees 13:07
Re: TV is dying.

Totally invalid comparison. You're comparing viewing figures for TV channels in the UK versus an international "channel" such as Youtube.

TV is dying.

When people discuss TV it makes you wonder why. Surely TV is almost as dead as radio? Would you get over 21 Million viewers for something on TV?
