So the answer to the title of this thread is – NO !!!
It wouldnt do so bad if it had not been for the grand announcement leading people to think that it just might be serious but our Pessimism was justified. Not only is 531khz slill silent but even the Crusin531 webstream is still just a very poorly automated playout with no presenters and long silences between tracks. A day of knife throwing and mud slinging commences then !

What time does Big L return to 1395 Khz?

Never is the harsh reality mouse – there have been so many lies and false claims about this station , from internal and external sources, that i would not listen to it almost on principle !

Maybe Anoak Nation should start up it's own offshore radio station.

Ask Christopher. He owns the RR.

What is the quality of the "nothin" you're getting ? Here in Northern Europe it's a crisp, clear silence.

So Leyland is your real name then? I'd ide it if I was you, and just call yoursl Stev West when talking about being a pirate DJ.

No I dn't have aship, but how about a small boat, and just transmit one day a week or a few hours every day? We'd get caught if we transmitted 24/7

Not much point in hiding my real identity; Ofcom already have a fat A4 file on me.
It was fun looking with them at all the surveillance pics of me they had in it after my last raid.

It's all sorted. Christopher is going to sail his Ross Revenge up here to Liverpool and the Xanadu rig will be installed. I'd get too seasick in a small boat.

You see, wire telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull
his tail in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? And radio operates exactly the same way: you send signals here, they receive them there. The only difference is that
there is no cat. – Albert Einstein

Beautifully clear channel here in North essex. No other stations are detectable at all – just a quiet hiss. Even i very weak transmission would be heard a very long way away on that channel – as suzy 531 found when they did a few RSL's using just 1 watt found out. The silence from Neil Gates is also deafening today – has he taken to his bunker ?

I know I was one of the cynics, but let's not go down the tabloid journalist route I confess to being bored with.
So let's just agree, it didn't happen and we can all get over it and get on with life!
