I think it was easier reading the Dutch pages rather than the translation. Zat voz wery hard verk. Anyway, reading between the lines, when has Portugal ever been near or in the Mediterranean? Or iz ze schip Ooou-Boat thing movin on to ze med viv itz sendmasten?

It would be such a boring world if we all liked the same! – Laser just "kicked" and was accepted by the general public not just anoraks, I loved NOVA and take about kicking they give us a real kick up the backside at City.

Regards good American DJ's, I think everyone knows my stance on this, I still feel it work here in the UK and you never know some day I may achieve my dream.

I didn't like the music on Laser, but I thought that it was a brilliant radio station.

I mean brilliant.

It was copied to a degree by almost all popular music stations at the time.

It was a bombshell for the radio establishment.

Even today, I can hear Laser-imitation when I listen to the radio.

Yes indeed. But to be fair to you guys at City it wasn't a level playing field. Nova with it's clutter free format was amazing at the time, and City couldn't compete due to the amount of speech content needed at the time. Johnnie Kennedy rabbitting on about this and that or Nova, no competition really!

Well I don't see why it wouldn't work. Our whole country is dominated by American culture! Wall to wall American TV, most people seem to use American English, or at least that's how they have their spell checker set up! It just isn't my thing.

Hello everyone. This can you now read in the Dutch "logboek" of the Norderney. Greetings of Nico from Gouda, the Netherlands.

Hallo iedereen. Uit dit onderstaande gedeelte van het bericht van Eric Hofman gisteren of eergisteren geplaatst in dit gastenboek is het duidelijk geworden dat de Norderney Nederland gaat verlaten(!) en op weg zal gaan richting Portugal of de Middellandse zee, danwel… de Atlantische Oceaan overgesleept zal gaan worden. Het is nu wachten op een bevestiging van Hans Knot of iemand anders, wáár exact heen. Droeve afscheids Norderney-groeten van Nico uit Gouda.

Alles wat ook maar enigzins kan rondslingeren werd vastgesjord met platte spanriemen, de tuikabels met isolatoren liggen op het dek, vastgehecht aan de masten, maar ook en vooral bij elkaar gehouden door kabelgespen. Ook de platliggende zendmasten werden zorgvuldig vastgesjord met spanriemen en gestut door een houten constructie.

Deuren en patrijspoorten werden gedicht met dikke houten platen, en de deur van de brug bovendien dichtgespoten. Kortom alles werd vastgesjord voor de grote reis? Dat doe je niet voor een reisje over binnenwateren. Alle rommel is van het schip verwijderd, de zijdeuren in de romp werden dichtgelast, de naam Veronica bijgewerkt. 8 Juli 2008 – Nico uit Gouda.

It's the ''fairy of the cupboard midscheeps was tackled with the slijpschijf'' that worries me. Maybe its one of those old proverbs that has somehow passed me by, ie. – that you should always tackle cupboard faries with your slijpshijf. Or something.
