For any of you folks who doubt that TALK is one of the major ways forward for broadcast radio I draw your attention to the fact that Rush Limbaugh has reportedly just signed a new long-term contract to produce his talk radio show and deliver it to hundreds of stations and millions of listeners across the USA and the world. He's going to get paid an obscene amount of money for doing it too (not that money buys you happiness of course!).
Rush is a great conservative and a great broadcaster. Fantastic!
Of course, open and in relenting political bias in the UK is disallowed. Note that in the USA liberal talk radio (the opposite of conservative talk radio) hardly ever happens. Conservatives rule radio in the USA.

Check you settings again, at the mo the only way to contact you is here.

Here is the answer what the NEW destination is of the "Norderney" !!! http://groups.google.com/group/nl.media.radio.zeezenders/browse_thread/thread/10d6609823a74e82#
Only the m.v. "Ross Revenge" will now remain around the Northsea (and of course the sunken m.v. "Mi Amigo"!) Greetings of Nico from Gouda, the Netherlands.

Hi, Steve. It Is said to the Mediterrian Sea. But such a load requires much paperwork and that is, as so far now is known, not (yet) done. So, there is thought that this schip will go to a harbour in the Netherlands. The very latest news and photo's about the "Norderney" can you find on http://groups.google.com/group/nl.media.radio.zeezenders/browse_thread/thread/ea527ba210d530e2 Greetings of Nico from Gouda, the Netherlands.

Hallo everyone. Red Sands Radio will start with broadcasting on Fridag 4
July, testing on 3 July. See its website
http://www.redsandonline.co.uk/ for more information.
Greetings of Nico from Gouda, the Netherlands.
Webstream is now online! Perhaps also the 1278 kHz-transmitter is now on air. Let here know if the 1278 kHz INDEED now is on air!

Audible at poor anorak quality on 1278 in South West London using a cheap portable. Assuming they only have 1 Watt that's brilliant!
All the best

About the same here on the Swanley/Sidcup border in Northkent using a portable, I guess i am about 70 miles or so from the fort so not bad,
Cant compare it to last year due the the Traffic Radio RSL then.
Richard
Pretty good signal here in SE25, little co-channel flutter but nothing unusual for this time of night. Shame about the web stream though, jumping, breaking up, buffering, eek!
Hi Stewart you may be a bit to near to 'Crush' on 1278. However you may be able to null them out with your loop, to hear Red Sands.
