It was supposed to be continuing , but I rather think that until the campaign to get the English Language programmes back on either wins or fails - he is keeping a low profile.......

Hi Andrew

Yes we could re-route cables and add some more switching to enable our main studio in Poprad, where I live, to air a programme to satellite and the Internet. That is true.
However, it then gets tricky if I were ever off ill/sick and someone else needed to mess around. Therefore, I need to consider which is best for the overall station output not just one show – be it mine or another show.
Adding more switching leads to….. well we all know the least amount of switching the better.
The above noted, Ivan and I are looking at ways we can resolve the issue without causing problems or at least making it so simple that anyone could make the switch and ENSURE that an English show doesn't get let out on the FM transmitters :-)

Thanks for the very kind comment

Best Regards
Eric

Hi Chris please see other comment from me. Me a low profile LOL.
It's more to do with making 100% sure we don't air a show in the wrong place – as the other reply states.

I've just changed internet providers and now have a wireless router, I'm wondering what folks are using for internet radios? I've found a few at my local computer dealer's and while they all do mp3 and wma only one seems to do real audio (which is a must for BBC and other stuff I listen to) and that's the Revo Pico Wi-Fi at just under £140. Then there's the Logik IR100 Internet radio at around £70….Also is anyone using a home music streamer in conjunction with an Internet radio?

Any personal recommendations? Thanks.

Zodra ik antwoord heb ontvangen van hem zal ik dit hier doorgeven.

I have received an answer of Herry Kuipers of Radio Waddenzee that in this period the transmitter of the "Janny Baynton" will NOT be used, so that in the late evening hours Radio Seagull then will NOT be better received than now. Greetings of Nico from Gouda, the Netherlands.

Alan asked "Also is anyone using a home music streamer in conjunction with an Internet radio"? I am using a Slim devices Transporter connected to my Hi-Fi system, and it streams music stored on my PC in both MP3 and FLAC formats, and it can also stream internet radio. It even accesses the excellent radiofeeds.co.uk audio links so can access all uk radio stations as well as shoutcast. You can also input individual radio stations as well. An excellent piece of kit, so to is the cheaper SqueezeBox
