All emails via email! I don't think I ever seen the home page.
What?? That means you have missed out on all latest news about the 279 project,
He says with tongue firmly in cheek!!

There's a frequency of 279 doing not much at the moment, of course...!
Are you now saying those 279 updates on Twitter may not actually be true?
Richard
Alex Jenkins <...> said or perhaps that
could be a use for the rig in Trindlehaven when Big L are finished;
That rig doesn't seem to be very well at the moment, For whatever reason it seems to be on reduced power and also appears to have problems switching back on at 2200 after Albania have finished,
Reading the Big L forum it seems Garry Williams has now left the station,
Did he go or was he pushed like Opal? I thought something may happen after the Channel Four programme.
Richard
I go straight to the URL that Christopher mentioned - I've got it as a button on the bookmarks toolbar thingy on Firefox.
I can't be bothered with the e-mails. I prefer just to read threads in order rather than hopping from one to the next with the e-mails and if there's a thread about something for which I couldn't give a poop, I just ignore it rather than having to waste valuable seconds of my life reading an e-mail about it.

Until Monday morning.

I do exactly the same as Mr. McGash. I can't be doing with having my
E Mail box clogged up.

Ah, you know me, Richard, I never like to start rumours about projects, so I wouldn't like to publicly speculate about how true they are!
:-)
Speaking of Twitter, it's interesting to see more and more radio people seem to have 'em.

I think he lost favour because of that programme (probably because he made Vezey look like a bully), which is why he got shuffled around a bit. Then they used the RAJAR results as a weapon to finally dispose of him.

He still appears to be on the website.
Ok then. Who's going to admit to going to websites on a regular basis that they feel slightly embarrassed about going to?
I don't mean naughty porn ones, I mean ones that are addictive and keep forcing you to go back to them like they've got some magnet you can't resist, but were you to admit it to your mates, they'd think you are a bit girlie or weird or whatever.
I'll go first.
Cough.
Well, I'm addicted to www.hollysinbox.com
There, I've said it now. I've come out. Damn.
Hollysinbox.com is 'chic lit' as in a real-time story of the Mills and Boon stylee, designed like you are snooping on somebody's Inbox, slowly unfolding day by day.
I've been caught reading it on three occasions and been subjected to considerable abuse. Abuse far greater than the abuse I get from the Manntower committee dare I say anything about 279! Yes, abuse from ladies. Ladies who now ridicule me at any opportunity.
Sigh.
My company is now full of rumours about me and chic lit, and people say things like "Do you need us to leave the room" whenever I'm at me laptop.
Anyway, am I alone with this kind of dark secret?

Two stations, Time 106.6 and Kingdom FM are both attempting to break the world's broadcasting record from tomorrow morning ... 125 hours (fools :-D )

Chris Cary is ready to bring back Radio Nova, which was always his station broadcasting first in Ireland and then from Surrey, only this time using the old internet malarkey. Yet, somebody else has already stolen his stations name to run an oldies internet radio station from 'Liverpool'.
Will this lead to a mud wrestling competition over the use of the Radio Nova name?
And what is it with people stealing old names radio station names? Why do they do that? Is there no originality left in the anorak world?
