The BIGL backers are very reputable and extremely pleasant guys,
BIGLs pennies come from a good source. Second if you bank rolled a
new station tomorrow you would have a period of time when you would
have to keep forking out (or you go the safe route play 180 songs on
heavy rotation – but then you would get swallowed by Gcap if your
station was half successful) – so please think what these backers of
BIGL are doing, giving you and me something different, I for one like
the station – great entertainment for three hours on the motorways
(M25 /M1 / M6) Thursday night.
I agree with some of your comments Roy, especially the heavy rotation thing.
The rotation thing, IMHO, has a lot to do with weak programming and simply falling over when someone outside your company tells you to play Roy&Chris singing Twist'n'Shout 40 times a week.
I can just imagine how the headline would read if a supplier to MacDonuts insisted they place the Chicken products above the other ones
– or the salad supplier telling them to put the salads higher. They would laugh. That's the real issue about rotation Roy.
On the point of something different, that belongs to the ears of the listener – if you are happy with what you are hearing then they have done a good job *for you*. If others think different then that is up to them.

Going down pub in a mo though.
Ah, but will you be playing pool?
Speaking of pubs. Why do they always assume we go there to watch TV?

Anyone noticed how very weak 10 Gold's AM1008 signal has become since
the beginning of this week?Used to romp in here in South Norfolk, but now it's barely audible –
much weaker even than Big L 1395!In west Kent I couldn't receive it at all – I thought they'd switched
the rig off, as announced last month.Yes it is much weaker but here in North West Kent still slightly
stronger at least in daytime than 1395, There is a lot of speculation
for the reason for and i guess we will find out eventually.R
Hallo Richard Sharpe. The reason for weakening of the signal of the 1008
kHz frequency of Radio 10 Gold is that this radio station can no longer
monthly pay a huge electricity bill of its 1008 kHz transmitter, so
Radio 10 Gold has to lower the power of its transmitter due to save
money. Greetings of Nico from Gouda, the Netherlands.
